The walls of the Golden Room in Casa Llotja are covered with Damascus silk tapestries featuring the shield and motto of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. Particularly of note are the golden frames and pediments of the doors, the sculptures, furniture and the cut-glass teardrop chandeliers.
In the four corners of the hall, resting on cylindrical pedestals, are four white marble sculptures by Damià Campeny (1771-1855). The sculptures represent the figures of Conjugal Loyalty and the Nuptials, in reference to marriage; Diana the Huntress, the symbol of fertility; and Paris offering the apple of Beauty.
